Truth of cool-cool oil & hair fall oil

Summer, headache, tension, stress & massaging head with cool-cool oil. Really is it relaxing? but did you know your oil & it’s ingredients? How they harm your scalp, skin & hair health?

Today, I thought to buy cool-cool oil for head massaging due to the high temperature & work load but felt uneasy. Explored all hair oil online & even roamed around in the market but found out that all oil contains high amount of mineral oil (crude oil) as base oil. But, luckily got an oil named “Banphool oil” & it has Til oil (Sesame oil) as base oil.

Most popular brands in India uses mineral oil as base oil for cool-cool oil & even for coconut oil. You are buying oil to nourish your hair which may contain more than 60% mineral oil (crude oil).

Mineral oil is actually industrial processed crude oil which is available approx Rupees. 40/- per kg & easily can be discovered on B2B websites. This base oil is actually good for manufacturer as it is non-sticky, has long shelves life, cheaper than vegetable oil, non-freezing etc. But nothing good for consumers as it has no nutrition, no protein, no properties that can nourish your scalp, follicles & hair. It may cause skin burning, irritation, allergies etc.

Second ingredient that you should notice, is paraffin that makes oil thick & smooth but using paraffin blended oil for long term causes clogging of follicles, hair fall & hair graying etc.

It is always better to use pure mustard oil, coconut oil etc. for hair massaging. If buying a hair oil, must see the ingredients specially base oil.

Celeb endorsed oils and shampoos are very cheap, they are merely basic 8 to 9 Rupees but your celeb campaigning makes it expensive in market, so always be aware!!
